Holiday Schedule for all branches of the Lake County Library
Lake County Library is open Tuesday-Saturday and is always closed on Monday. The current practice for the library is that when there is a County holiday on a Monday, the library staff takes the Saturday preceding the holiday off in observance of that holiday.
The Library observes the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
President’s Day
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
Independence Day
Labor Day
Indigenous Peoples Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Day after Thanksgiving Day
Winter Holiday (entire week of Christmas)
